David assumed the role of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Vice Chair in October 2024.Ìý
David started in Trading Standards in 1991 and is currently Manager of the team at The Highland Council in northern Scotland. His roles as a ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ lead officer and past Chair of the Society of Chief Officers of Trading Standards in Scotland (SCOTSS) has enabled him to push the Trading Standards case with ministers and government officials in London and Edinburgh over many years. An additional perspective comes from overseas work advising governments in Europe, Africa and the Middle East on consumer protection matters.
