Pete is currently Regulatory Manager at supermarket Morrisons - where he oversees compliance and advises on food information, legislation and due diligence across the supply chain.
He began his career in Trading Standards in 1988, qualifying as an Inspector of Weights and Measures and enforcing a broad range of legislation. He later moved into consultancy roles at LawLabs, NSF, and Ashbury, before working independently as a regulatory consultant.
Over the years, Pete has advised many of the UK’s leading manufacturers and retailers on food-related legislation and practical compliance. He has audited food and non-food manufacturers in the UK and overseas, managed regulatory teams across the UK, EU, Australia and the USA, and has served as an expert witness.
