Judicial review - CEO outlines challenge

³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ attended a permission hearing at Manchester High Court 5 May, which was to determine whether a judicial review case brought against Liverpool Council is to go ahead.
The legal challenge, which is in relation to cuts made to the trading standards service in Liverpool, was made by a Liverpool resident, council employee and ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ member in September 2014. ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ chief executive Leon Livermore provided an expert witness statement to aid the court.
